what does a fundraising volunteer do?

WHEN/WHERE: Most of the work can be done remotely, on your own time. When we have fundraising events, we would need on-site help running the event
TASKS:

  • Developing relationships with brands/businesses in Santa Cruz

  • Seeking donations of cash, goods, and sponsorships

  • Developing and running fundraising events

  • Thanking our donors

  • Applying/writing for grants

IS THIS RIGHT FOR ME? Do you have sales experience? Are you gifted with the ability to persuade? Or maybe a talent for showing gratitude? Or navigating databases, correspondence, applications and meeting requirements. If any of that sounds like you, get in touch with us!
